CITYOGA's Teacher Training Programs offer certification at both the Basic 200-hour and the Advanced 500-hour level. CITYOGA 200 and 500 are Registered Yoga Schools through Yoga Alliance. Read more about both below.

CITYOGA 500
Comprehensive and Flexible Yoga Alliance Based 500-Hour Teacher Training Certification

CITYOGA 500 is a comprehensive and flexible Yoga Alliance based 500-Hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) Certification. CITYOGA 500 builds upon the basic 200-hour Yoga Alliance registry cirriculum. It provides an additional 300+ hours of training to deepen personal practice and advance teaching skills. Students with a 200-hour certification from any Yoga Alliance registered school or who are currently registered at the 200-hour level with Yoga Alliance are eligible to apply.

Designed much like graduate work at a university, this modular, rather than intensive format allows students to schedule and structure the training in a way best suited for them. The curriculum consists set of core requisite courses (see outline below), augmented by electives. Core courses are offered a minimum of 2 times per year. Once your training begins, there is a 2 year time limit to complete. Exceptions will be made to the time limit for documented hardship (financial or otherwise). Electives are fulfilled through independent study or workshops and intensives held at CITYOGA or other locations. Students in the 500-hour program are eligible to receive transfer credits for electives taken at other locations.

The Core Curriculum

Core courses are offered over 1 or 2 weekend(s) or an extended weekend format. Courses will be offered a minimum of two times a year.
